Welcome, and thank you for being here. I’m glad you’ve taken the time to look around and start getting to know me. In my hypnotherapy practice, I aim to create a welcoming space that supports gentle change, calm, and personal growth.

It takes courage to seek help, so well done for taking that first step towards your own development. If you’re here, you may be feeling curious, unsure, hopeful, or simply ready for something to change. Whether you’re here just for information or looking for guidance, I hope I can be part of your journey.

About Me

My name is Charlotte Bayliss. I have a degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Applied Forensic Psychology. I trained at The Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training (CPHT) in Bristol, gaining diplomas in Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy and Hypnotherapy in Practice.

I’m fully qualified, insured, and enhanced DBS checked, with memberships in the National Council for Hypnotherapy (MNCH) and the Association for Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy (MAfSFH).

My decision to train as a hypnotherapist was shaped through my own journey of healing and my experience of how powerful this approach can be. It showed me that even after difficult experiences, meaningful change is possible when we focus on strengths, coping, and the future rather than reliving what cannot be changed. While we cannot change what has happened in the past, we can change how we relate to it, how we cope, and how we move forward.

A solution-focused approach resonated with me because I saw firsthand how it can reduce anxiety, build resilience, and support positive future outcomes. This is why I feel strongly about helping clients develop practical coping strategies and a calmer, more confident mindset, without becoming overwhelmed by problems.

How I Work

This space is for people who want to feel more in control, calm, and confident. It is a safe, non-judgemental environment where you are free to explore at your own pace. My approach is gentle, and there’s no pressure to push for quick results. Sometimes changes happen subtly, and that’s okay.

Hypnotherapy uses relaxation and focused attention to help create positive changes in thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. You are guided into a calm, focused state, similar to daydreaming, while always remaining fully in control. We work on goals that you choose, and at no time will you be asked to do anything you do not want to do.

Areas of Support

People come to me for many reasons, and you may recognise yourself in one or more of these. I offer support with:

  • Anxiety and stress management
  • Sleep issues and low mood
  • Motivation, performance, and confidence
  • Weight management and habit change
  • Phobias and addictions
  • Stopping smoking or vaping
  • IBS, chronic pain, or stress-exacerbated symptoms
  • Grief and trauma support

You’re not alone if you’ve been experiencing any of these, and it’s completely normal to seek support at your own pace.
